Embarking on a full production means working through your entire record from start to finish.
From discussing project goals, to listening to demos during pre-production, to picking out and tweaking song arrangements, to building a strong instrumental foundation, to recording and selecting the best vocal takes that deliver the emotion suited for the moment.
Full production means every aspect of your record is carefully attended to and captured in order to deliver the highest quality product to send off to the next part of the process: Mixing.
MIXING
The right mix engineer can bring a flat, lifeless recording back from the dead, or highlight and enhance a perfectly captured performance.
Using only the finest array of tools to assist carefully tuned ears, we will craft a mix suited to your tastes.
MASTERING
No record is complete without the precision and care that comes from a practiced mastering engineer.
As the final processing on your record, the mastering will polish your record with clarity, volume, width, and control, while preserving every labored detail of the mixing process.
As an added bonus, our mastering service includes free mixing advice before mastering.
CONSULTING
With the advent of budget-friendly recording software and gear, recording music at home is becoming more and more common every day.
Some projects do not have the budget to hire an experienced audio engineer to record a full production.
That's where we come in. As part of our consultation services, we will set you up for success by evaluating your recording environment and providing you with techniques to achieve the best sound possible with the gear that you have.
In addition to recording consulting, we can provide production reviews, mix critiques, room acoustic advice, and much more!

Hi, I'm Scott Borecki

In addition to my audio engineering experience, I've been a musician for almost two decades. With my musical background and my love for music, I am able to help bring a fresh perspective to your project, with your goals in mind, from fine-tuning song structure and arrangement to adding post-production elements that can make your music really pop!
The name Oven Fresh Sounds is an ode to my first music production setup in the kitchen of my NYC apartment. Thankfully, my production setup has since expanded into a dedicated studio space affectionately known as The Oven.
